Lady Bird Nail Art Tutorial

I am kicking off Day 1 of the 31 day challenge (Red Nails) with the Lady bird AKA Lady bug Nail art design.
Its a simple, cute, easy little nail art design to ease me in to this mammoth task.

For this tutorial your will need:

- Base and top coat nail varnish

- Red nail varnish

- Black nail varnish

-White nail varnish

- Dotting tool

-Black nail art pen

 

 

Revlon Base and top coat, Barry M black and retro red,
Virgin vie White, Andrea Fulerton nail art pen.

First off undercoat your nails with your base coat.

I am using Revlon 955 my absolute fave at the moment.

 

Once dry paint your nails red.

I am using Barry Ms limited addition Retro red.

 

 

Once you red is dry apply a black french tip.

Down the centre of your nail pain a black line with your nail art pen.

Mine is a little off but it doesn't matter :).

 

Use the dotting tool and make 3 small dot each side of the central line.

 

 

Use your dotting tool and white nail varnish to make two small eyes.

 

With the smaller end of the dotting tool add two small black dots to complete the eyes.

Repeat on each nail

Allow your nails to fully dry and finish with a shiny top coat.

* Don't have a dotting tool?... You can use a blunt pencil ,the end of a hair grip or blunt the end of a tooth pick.

* Don't have a nail art pen?... You can use a think nail art brush or paint brush.
