Bumble Bee Nail Art Tutorial

Day 3 of 31 day challenge: Yellow Nails

 

This is the first time i have tried this so i hope it has turned out alright.

 

 

For this tutorial you will need:

- Top and base coat nail varnish

- Yellow nail varnish

- Black nail varnish

- White nail varnish

- Black nail art pen

- Dotting tool

 

 First off undercoat your nails with your base nail varnish.

 

Once dry apply 2-3 thin coats of yellow nail varnish.

I am using Barry M Yellow.

 

Allow the yellow nail varnish to completely dry.

With your black nail varnish create a thick black band at the tip of your nail.

I am using Barry M black

With your nail art pen make two lines underneath the band.

I am using Andrea Fulerton black nail art pen.

 

With your dotting tool create a bee trail by making small little dots in a waved line on your remaining four nails.

 

On your thumb nail take the larger end of the dotting tool and make two white dots on the thick black band at the tip of your nail.

I am using rimmel nail tip whitener

 

Once the white dots have completely dried with the smaller end of the dotting tool complete the eyes with two small dot.

 

Apply a top coat to protect your design and that your done!

* Don't have a dotting tool?... You can use a blunt pencil ,the end of a hair grip or blunt the end of a tooth pick.

* Don't have a nail art pen?... You can use a think nail art brush or paint brush.
